DESCRIPTION:Please register here. \nA smart city is one that utilises a variety of different technologies to be able to improve the quality of life of its citizens whilst creating an environment that encourages economic development. Smart Cities CEE 2019 will be showcasing how smart technologies can be utilised to improve transportation systems\, waste management\, retrofitting\, redevelopment of abandoned spaces\, digitalisation of services and to boost economic development so that every citizen sees a benefit. \nTechnology should never be implemented for the sake of it\, but where it adds value for citizens\, increases the trust between administrators and citizens and encourages citizen participation in future development plans. Bringing together 25 of the smartest case studies from cities across Europe\, Smart Cities CEE is an opportunity to listen and learn from the best and to use this knowledge to start to build a smarter future for all citizens.
