SUMMARY:Webinar: How can Data Spaces navigate legal complexity through compliance by design? – Online\, 30 June 2026
DESCRIPTION:As data spaces continue to emerge as a key enabler of data sharing and innovation across Europe\, organisations face growing challenges in navigating an increasingly complex regulatory landscape. Legal obligations\, governance structures\, and compliance responsibilities are often shaped by the technical and organisational choices made when designing and operating a data space.\n\nDuring the webinar\, “How Can Data Spaces Navigate Legal Complexity Through Compliance by Design?”\, you will explore how legal frameworks can be considered as an integral part of data space design rather than an afterthought. The session will provide insights into the European data ecosystem\, the regulatory landscape surrounding data spaces\, and practical approaches to privacy and data protection through compliance by design.\n\nWhat to expect\nIn this one-hour session\, you will gain insights into:\n\nThe European Strategy for Data and the role of the European Data Space for Smart Communities ecosystem\nThe regulatory landscape applicable to data spaces and the challenges of navigating multiple legal frameworks\nHow technical and organisational design choices influence legal responsibilities and compliance obligations\nPrivacy\, personal data protection\, and practical approaches to compliance by design\, illustrated through GDPR-related examples\n\nSpeakers\n\n\nGenoveva Gil Garcia – Tech Law Researcher at Serendipity\nColette Cuijpers – Professor of Applied Sciences in Law at the Juridische Hogeschool Avans – Fontys\n\n\n \n REGISTER HERE

SUMMARY:DOME Marketplace Event – Brussels\, Belgium\, 6 October 2026
DESCRIPTION:On 6 October 2026\, DOME Marketplace brings together providers\, customers\, marketplaces and EU institutions in Brussels for a focused half-day event on the future of Europe’s trusted digital services ecosystem. \nAbout the event \nEurope has the technology. The challenge is making it discoverable\, trustworthy and easy to procure across borders. This event gathers the people and organisations working to solve exactly that — through an afternoon of keynotes\, panel discussions and a live demonstration of DOME Marketplace. \nEvent details \n6 October 2026\, at 14:00–17:30\, followed by a cocktail reception at The Square — Rue Mont des Arts 1\, 1000 Brussels\, Belgium \nWho should attend \nThis event is designed for Cloud\, Edge and AI service providers looking to grow their European presence\, procurement and digital transformation decision-makers from the public and private sector\, marketplace operators and platform builders\, and representatives from EU institutions and industry associations working on Europe’s digital services ecosystem. \nWhat we will discuss \nAmong the topics on the agenda: why capable European providers still struggle to become the natural choice for customers; how trust\, sovereignty and European origin influence real buying decisions; what it takes to make procurement faster\, fairer and more accessible; and how visibility\, federation and trusted credentials can become genuine commercial routes to market. \nAgenda \nOpening Keynote — Europe’s Trusted Digital Services Market: Where Are We Today? \nA high-level introduction to Europe’s digital services landscape\, setting the strategic and policy context for the afternoon. Why trusted European market access\, procurement and ecosystem connectivity matter now. \nPanel 1 — What Is Preventing the Adoption of European Digital Services? \nEurope’s core challenge is not a lack of technological capability\, but the difficulty of discovering\, evaluating and purchasing European services. This panel examines the real barriers to adoption — from visibility and channel access to procurement complexity and buyer confidence. \nPanel 2 — Buying Digital Services with Confidence: Trust & Procurement \nHow can organisations reduce supplier-selection risk without making procurement unnecessarily slow or inaccessible to smaller providers? This panel explores what buyers genuinely need\, and how reusable\, verifiable supplier information can shorten qualification and due diligence. \nPanel 3 — How Can European Providers Scale Through Visibility\, Federation and Trust? \nWhat do European providers need to grow beyond domestic markets? This panel examines whether visibility\, trusted information and connected ecosystems can become genuine commercial routes to market — and how federation can extend reach while preserving each participant’s identity and governance. \nDOME Keynote — Connecting Europe’s Trusted Digital Ecosystems \nA focused keynote presenting DOME Marketplace as a practical response to the challenges identified in the preceding sessions — covering service discoverability\, trusted and comparable information\, procurement enablement and cross-border visibility. \nLive Demonstration — DOME Customer Journey: From Discovery to Procurement \nA pre-recorded demonstration with live commentary showing what a customer can actually do on DOME Marketplace — from discovering and comparing services to trust assessment and procurement initiation. \nClosing Panel — Building Momentum Across Europe’s Trusted Service Ecosystem \nA forward-looking discussion on what it will take to build lasting momentum across Europe’s digital services ecosystem — bringing together the perspectives of providers\, customers\, marketplaces and institutions. \nCocktail Reception \nFollowing the sessions\, all attendees are invited to continue the conversation over drinks. \n \n REGISTER YOUR INTEREST HERE
