ROTTERDAM, 6 June 2024 – Open & Agile Smart Cities & Communities (OASC) confirmed their collaboration with BABLE Smart Cities and Urban Innovators Global under the Urban Innovation Leadership Programme (UILP) during the Urban Future 2024 conference in Rotterdam. This strategic partnership aims to foster innovation and forward-thinking solutions in smart community and urban development.
The Urban Innovation Leadership Programme (UILP) is designed to provide high-end training for professionals, executives, elected leaders, and practitioners in the smart community and urban innovation domain. The programme equips community leaders and practitioners with the skills needed to effectively address digitalisation and leverage it for the benefit of their communities while mitigating potential negatives. Success in urban innovation strategies relies on the effective convergence of digital and analogue innovations, including design, planning, architecture, social innovation, place-making, urban agriculture, and non-digital infrastructure.
This partnership aims to empower city leaders and practitioners with the knowledge and tools to create more resilient and smart urban environments. By combining the expertise of OASC, BABLE and Urban Innovators Global, the UILP provides comprehensive training that prepares leaders to navigate digital transformation and foster smart sustainable urban development.
