This session will provide an overview of interoperability efforts for Smart Cities, including the updated MIMs framework, the new MIM for Digital Twins, and OASC work on Data Spaces.
We will discuss how MIMs support local governments in achieving interoperability, and the roadmap for future developments.
The presentation will also cover lessons learned from implementing MIMs and how these mechanisms help cities to unlock the benefits of digital transformation.

Thimo Thoeye is the Tech Lead at Open & Agile Smart Cities & Communities (OASC), a global network dedicated to fostering digital transformation and interoperability in the public sector. He has a long history in local government, open data, digital transformation and innovation.
