The event will bring together interested stakeholders from mobile network operators, alternative operators, equipment manufacturers, and public authorities to share ideas and insights on Europe’s Digital Decade and policy objectives for 5G for Smart Communities.

The day will feature presentations by DG CNECT and HaDEA outlining the policy objectives for 5G for Smart Communities in the context of digital targets for 2030. A roundtable discussion will follow, in which we will explore the benefits of collaboration between mobile network operators, alternative operators, equipment manufacturers, and public authorities.

After a networking lunch, breakout sessions will be organised according to thematic areas of Health, Education, Smart Cities, Emergency and Disaster Relief. Selected projects from CEF Digital call 1 on 5G for Smart Communities will present their projects and share useful tips and lessons learned from the application projects with the interested stakeholders.
