With over 1000 participants from 50+ countries, the conference is organised by the MyData Global – an award-winning international nonprofit based in Finland. MyData Global’s mission is to empower individuals to self-determination regarding their personal data. MyData Gloabal’s work is primarily financed by membership fees and revenue from the conference.
MyData Online 2020 will gather 1000 personal data professionals and people interested in the data economy. The online conference will provide a quality programme, networking opportunities and social connections.

OASC will be directly involved in the conference and hosting a session on Personal Data and Public Services on Friday December 11th. At the session, we will be discussing the role that personal data management can have in improving public services and enabling seamless experiences for citizens. The session will encourage a debate about the role of cities in overcoming fear of sharing personal data and empowering citizens to take charge in public initiatives in their community.
