Executive Director Geni Raitisoja is leaving OASC, confident that it is ready for the next stage of growth.

Geni joined OASC in March 2021, taking on responsibility for strategic engagement and operations and was appointed Executive Director in August 2021 when the previous CEO left the organisation.

Her assignment at the start of her appointment was to lead and support the transition of OASC towards a new phase in its growth, with a healthy strategic and financial outlook and in a closer collaboration with the partners. Geni’s commitment was to stay only until the transition was fully set in motion and the strategic engagement with the partners and stakeholders strengthened, both of which she has achieved in these past months.

In this context, the Board of Directors, would like to thank Geni for all her contributions and achievements and wish her all the best in her future activities. As Executive Director, she took up her responsibilities enthusiastically and performed well under pressure and challenging circumstances.

The Board of Directors of OASC will now start an open search for an Executive Director to replace Geni to ensure the continued growth of OASC, with a view to further strengthen the internal processes and the governance of the organisation.
