We are getting ready for the Smart City Expo World Congress (SCEWC) 2017 in Barcelona, Spain, 14-16 November.

Come by our stand at SCEWC 2017 to learn more about the Open & Agile Smart Cities network and its founding members Aarhus University (DK), Future Cities Catapult (UK), imec (BE), and Tampere Business (FI). Together with our member cities and project partners we will showcase goals, activities, and outcomes of the network and associated projects.

Tuesday, 14 Nov 2017

10:30 – 12:30: OrganiCity
Belén Palacios, Concept Designer at Future Cities Catapult and responsible for the OrganiCity project, will present goals and activities of OrganiCity.

14:00 – 15:00: Smart Flanders
Nils Walravens, senior researcher at imec, will present the Smart Flanders programme that brings together 13 Flemish cities. The goal is to promote realtime open data in cities. Representatives of all 13 cities and Liesbeth Homans, Vice-Minister-President of the Government of Flanders, will be at the OASC stand.

16:00 – 17:00: SynchroniCity
SynchroniCity is an ambitious project to deliver a digital single market for IoT-enabled urban services, in Europe and beyond.

9:30 – 11:00: Creative Ring
The Creative Ring is specifically directed at supporting creative entrepreneurs, innovators and other stakeholders in the Creative Industries.

11:00 – 12:30: SynchroniCity
SynchroniCity is an ambitious project to deliver a digital single market for IoT-enabled urban services, in Europe and beyond.

12:30 – 15:00: Meet OASC founders & cities
This is your opportunity to get in touch with the OASC team, the founders of OASC, and with member cities of the network.

15:30 – 17:00: SELECT for Cities
Hugo Goncalves, Forum Virium Helsinki and SELECT for Cities project coordinator, presents the project and answers all your questions around SELECT for Cities.

10:00 – 12:30: European Network of Living Labs
The team of the European Network of Living Labs (ENoLL) will present ongoing projects and the work of ENoLL. Stop by the OASC booth and learn more about the work of living labs.

Meetups for Spanish and Latin American Cities – FIWARE Stand B231

FIWARE organises a meetup for Spanish and Latin American member cities of the OASC network. Discover more about the Open and Agile Smart Cities initiative already joined by 100+ cities in more than 20+ countries. Understand OASC principles and learn how related initiatives like the the Front-runner Smart Cities initiative, launched by TMForum and the FIWARE Foundation, will bring support to those cities willing to move into execution.
