‘Connections and investment for a collaborative Europe’ is the theme guiding the Bratislava Innovation Camp held on 6-7 July, 2016 in Bratislava, Slovakia. This societal innovation camp addresses four core challenges and invites experts from various backgrounds and disciplines to find solutions.

Bratislava, Slovakia: This societal innovation camp gathers approximatively 40-50 people from all around Europe from a diversity of ages, disciplines, backgrounds and cultures and has the objective to identify obstacles and find solutions, with the overarching goal of building on the entrepreneurial spirit in Europe. The theme of Bratislava Innovation Camp 2016 will be ‘connections and investment for a collaborative Europe’ and its debates will be structured around the following core challenges:

  • smart mobility,
  • digital transformation,
  • ‘Danube Valley’ Innovation hub development and
  • Cross-border collaboration and economic transformation.

The Bratislava Innovation Camp is organized on 6-7 July 2016 during the Slovak EU Presidency with the support of the Slovak Ministry of Economy, European Committee of the Regions, the Region and City of Bratislava. It will also feed in the 7th European Summit of Regions and Cities “Invest and Connect” held in Bratislava on the 8-9 July.
